Chelsea are closing in on a transfer deal for Ajax midfielder Juan Familia Castillo, according to reports.
Castillo would be a versatile addition at Stamford Bridge, with the highly-rated 16-year-old able to operate in both central midfield and on the left flank.
The Daily Mail say the Blues are hoping to seal the signing of Castillo in the coming weeks after monitoring the teenager for some time.
Ajax are losing several of their promising youngsters following the departure of academy coach Wim Jonk earlier in the campaign.
It’s understood the Netherlands Under-16 captain was also a target for Manchester United.
